Wayne Usiak, AIA, NCARB

Wayne founded BDA Architecture in 1986 to specialize exclusively in animal care facilities. He has designed companion animal facilities for general and specialist practices, emergency / critical care, mixed practice, equine, bovine and university / research veterinary facilities. As senior principal at BDA, he has overseen over 2,000,000 square feet of animal facility designs, exceeding 300,000,000 dollars of aggregate construction value. Wayne has developed many of the standards used in animal facility design industry wide today. He speaks regularly at major conferences in the United States and abroad and sits on the editorial advisory board of Veterinary Economics Magazine.

Paul Gladysz, AIA, NCARB, CSI, ICC

A Principal of BDA Architecture, Paul has over 27 years experience in design and managing animal care facility projects. He has been involved in more than 300 veterinary designs, including 14 award-winning projects 1998 thru 2007. His areas of special interest include: Project delivery methods including Design/Build and Construction Management, Lighting, Acoustical Control, and New Construction Materials and Methods.

Paul has over 400 Million Dollars in completed projects, in multiple project types, in almost every region of the country. He has published articles on the use of new construction materials and methods.

Dave Gasser, AIA

Dave Gasser, AIA

Since joining BDA Architecture in 1999, Dave Gasser has specialized his Architectural Degree in the design of animal care facilities. Over the past fourteen years, he has completed over 100 animal care facilities all over the United States and Canada. Along with programming, conceptualizing and designing facilities, he also manages many of the projects thru their Construction. Dave is a Speaker at the CVC Kansas City Hospital Design Conference and has written articles for Veterinary Economics publications.
