This 2-story 15,500 sf equine only facility provided comprehensive inpatient and outpatient equine services ranging from standing surgeries to colic/orthopaedic surgery and nuclear scentography. Two spacious surgical rooms were serviced by a central pack prep scrub area, 3 induction recovery rooms with central crane access, and a surgical viewing gallery. Three treatment rooms were provided with stocks, a large radiology suite, and a standing surgery room were all accessed by a wide main hospital circulation corridor. Central pharmacy, lab, conference/consult room, and a farrier/wash bay all provided services to the hospital treatment areas. All these facilities were complemented by a 6 stall ICU area with central nursing station.
